Not many Calgary owners here?
Thanks Jordi. The Fit is going to go through some treatment this summer hopefully, will be doing some autox aswell. How is school treating you?

Sure. My car's still hurting in the back... but whatever. You'll see what it's like to have a rear-ended Fit, haha! When are you thinking?
Nice! I'd love to see what you do. School's been fantastic. Just finished the last of classes, now it's a week of exams. How's electrical work been for you?
I haven't been to the Beyond Wednesday night meet this year as I have something on Wednesday nights. Might go when I am free.
As for a quick meet may be Saturday morning sometime. I am in NW Hidden Valley area.
UmmFit what is your summer set up? Some people say the OEM Dunlop isn't good. It seems a bit loud to me. Winter I probably will go to 175 on the OEM Sport rim. I can go to smaller rims but the tire isn't really more narrow. 15 and 14" tires are cheaper for sure though.

My summer tires are Yokohama S Drives. Fantastic grip wet or dry, and not too noisy. My tire noise is from my wheel alignment, I'm sure. I'll be setting the alignment back to stock soon because I can't stand the slight warble. 16in rims, 7in wide. Tire size is 205/45-16. For the height I have my car, however, these are too wide. I had to lightly bend the front fenders and cut out material in the rear fenders. The next tires I'm going to buy will be 195/45-16, which I'm hoping will be just narrow enough to prevent all rubbing. I have to push the car to make it rub right now, but I still don't like that.
On the side note, officially blew my rear shocks today! What a lovely sound it made. They are the oem shocks on T1R springs. Lasted WAY longer than they should have. But now it's finally time to buy a coil-over set. Yay.
My Fit still has its rear punched in. Looks super unique.
out of all the fit freaks in calgary, have any of you put a turbo on your fit? i am thinking about putting together my own just bc i dont have the money to buy the hks kit right up front. if any of you do how are you enjoying your turbo setup?

Just checking in seeing what has been going on. I am a regular on Beyond, so I might see a few of you guys at the Chinook meets throughout the summer if you ever go.
Bought an interesting project car; Isuzu I-Mark Turbo RS
Has 110hp, 120ft/bs of torque, comes in at just under 2000lbs
In the process of rebuilding... well... virtually everything, lol

I'm back on the forums now. Hoping to see if there are any spare FitFreak decals still floating around. I had one on my GE when I helped a fellow Freak move on a very snowy spring day many years ago. I just bought a mint GD that now forms the cornerstone of my delivery business. Over the summer I plan on making it my own, and wouldn't mind seeing some other members when schedules allow.
Just doing my annual check in today... I noticed somebody took away my billions of rep points... boooo!!!
Also, I got a new toy... I think my fellow Fit-Freaks will approve:
It is basically the same size, weight and configuation as my old Fit... only it puts down over 200whp/200wtq on a dyno

Ha, nice! I got rear-ended yet another time a little while ago. 3rd time in 5 years, but this time the Fit's dead.

Time to start hunting for a car.
