Roughly around 7600km now since last August.

Getting about 370km/tank. A lot of rush hour traffic & up/downhill.

I'm already at 9500 kms... and i only bought mine in October!

I get approx 380-400 kms on a tank of gas (AT sport) with variable driving conditions.

Picked my car up at the end of October, 9,200km as of today.

Typically I'm getting 6.5L/100km on Chevron 89.

i usually get 350-360kms before the low fuel light warning comes on than i drive up to 400kms before i gas up to a full tank(37-38litres). btw...mine is an automatic
ps. i test drove the manual sport last week just to see the difference and it's like night and day. I totally beat the shiznit out of the car, it was like driving my old suzuki swift gti(total go-kart fun). sales guy was totally pi**s off of my driving..especially when i told him i just wanted to find out the diffence between stick & auto....
i got the auto cause of the wifey.
thankx

i took my brother-in-law trying to convince him to go for a fit...but he's always been a "civic" follower, anyways we dealt with another salesman afterwards....the young salesman i went for a spin didnt have the cahoonas to take my driving(especially when i pulled the e-brake doing 70kms on a wide turn)...like i said it was really a test drive. i learned a little bit of drifting when i had my 240sx(gave it to my nephew for 18th b-day).

thankx again guys for listening to my rant........

Hey, i'm getting about 390km before the light comes on. I drive it pretty calmly. I occasionally do some hard accel's, just becasue i want to hear the engine, (Stupid T1R Intake and Megan Racing) I do a LOT of stop in go becasue i'm in downtown vancouver.

I do some hard accleration sometimes too. It's only 15km/tank difference or so. I do check my oil level often and change my oil pretty often to keep the engine in good shape.

I can understand why he's pissed off even tho. It sure is a test drive u can drive it harder than usual to test it out but not wrecklessly like pulling ebrakes. NO offense just my 0.02

no worries dude:

i have 19yrs. of driving experience....I'ved own 5 mustangs(4 of them 5.0litre)....so bitch slapping a little 1.5v-tec shouldnt be a problem(plus they like to rev. high). but i agree about drifting while on a test drive...it was uncalled for.....but sooooo much fun.

Got about 870km on my Fit, got it about 3 weeks and I don't drive much. Just finished 2nd tank of gas, and lights turn on about 380km. BTW, gas is about 105 cents/L in Burnaby.

Thats with a MT and short ram air intake (so mostly spirited driving )

35,600 Km (no mistake at all as I drive about 4-5K km per month) since Aug. 1, 70% city driving (Toronto area), rest on the freeways including two different trips to NYC and DC respectively...
When it's mostly city driving the gas light comes off at about 340-350 km and I can always do up to 50 km more, so always 400 km on 40 l (city driving, mostly freaking stop-and-go), but last week I went to Ottawa, left Toronto at 2 pm at the destination (Orleans, east of Ottawa) at 6pm, on my way back (same 4 hrs) I used only the cruise control on 120 kph (empty 401 as I drove from 7pm to 11pm), 450 km on about 32 liters...
But my Fit is a 5AT (using the paddle shifters a lot), so way heavier than the other Fit models, so burning more gas...
I change the oil when my oil life dash indicator tells me so, never before, the dealer does that (with genuine Honda 5W20 oil and filter) as the same price Canadian Tire charges for the 5W20, C$35 plus tax...
Chris in Toronto

PS You guys should include your Fit model, as in MT/AT DX, LX or Sport, when posting/asking for technical advices, lots of differences on these models affecting the overall driving...

I know how you feel. I bought my FIT on Oct 26th and it now has 14,100km. I'll be heading down to Portland at the end of this month as well.

Last tank, I got 490km with 31L, works out to be 6.3L/100km. I am hoping to do even better on my drive down.
