Got your Fit's windows tinted in vancouver?
Hi all,
Wondering if anyone here in Vancouver area shas had their windows tinted on their Fit.. who did you go with? I'm hearing a lot of good reviews about Advanced Window Films in Poco and also good comments about a guy named Larry that does window-tinting mobile style (go.to/tinting). Any recommendations?
Do they take your windows out when getting 'em tinted? Would be kinda freaky to have those rear-most windows taken out, since I wouldn't really trust someone to perfectly re-seal them back on... just seems really sketchy to me. Maybe I'm just a noob and don't realize peoples' expertise, though. Really don't know what to expect.
OK, thanks for any tips/recommendations..

Nice, I've really been leaning towards N-Motion as they seem quite pro and a few people I know have got their tinting done their. The "lifetime of the vehicle" warranty is a killer option too... not to mention the decent looking prices. I'll probably go with them, just gunna wait until after xmas and give 'em a call.

depending on what you want all 5 rear and the 2 fronts it will range anywhere from $125-$180, they sponsor a few local car sites and if you mention this you'll get a good discount... I forget which ones but I think Vancouver civics and Revscene.

well wait how many windows are you getting tinted? If it's all 7 windows $250 is not that bad a deal, but like i said, it is off season and they should give you a deal... N-motion's best thing is that its a lifetime warrenty, so if they install it poorly or it gets ruined by bubbles or whatever later on they fix it for free.
And choyi remember that tinting any window in front of your shoulders is illegal in BC. Many people do it, but it's something to be aware of. Myself I have 20% rear and 70% tint in the fronts and it's barely noticible. I would not recommend going any darker then 50% in the front windows. And NEVER tint your windshield that is a big safety no-no.
