I just spoke to Jason @ A&J and he said that the clunk noise is my springs settling in and to give it a week or so. If the noise keeps up then they'll take a look at it because the springs should have been set by then.

When did you get your coilovers installed? Maybe they just need to settle in like mine

I won't worry about the noise too much. Like Jason said contact them after a week or two and see what happen. If there's no more noise make sure u have alignment done.

After all these high performance parts may cause a bit of moise. The more stuff u put on the more noise u have from different area of the car. Exhaust+intake gets louder, BOV screams like crazy, clunk from coilovers here & there & etc. The fully adjustable Zeal coilover I had on my civic clunks a lot too. But I didn't care as long as the ride height was adjusted properly & shocks are operating normally.

Like u can't expect aftermarket sports brake pad to be quiet all the times, & dust free, while u wanna have good braking performance. There's always some trade off.....sticky tires are noisy too!

Wow you are full of excuses. So are you going to make your Fit a 10 second car before you come out to race me?

I'm having tons of traction problems on 30% tread remaining street tires.

It has been unusually quiet in the forum today.
Why is everyone out enjoying the sun?

Even Guinness is absent, probably polishing his ride for this weekend's Show and Shine.

Enjoy guys, but don't overdue the suntan.

That has been said so many times in the past - I don't know how many years.

Nice! I suppose these will fit with the OEM discs...or do you replace with bigger ventilated/slotted discs too?

How much of an improvement in stopping performance do you expect?

It's pretty much like doing TypeR front brakes upgrades on a Civic/Integra. U cannot use the stock fit brake rotors coz those are regular civic/integra's size which is in 262mm/10.3". U need get a pair of 282mm/11.1" size Prelude rotors (redrilled 4x114.3 to 4x100 pattern) PLUS a set of TypeR size brake pads & a set of 3mm spacer behind the brake rotors.

For wheels clearance wise, there are some 15" wheels out there like these Team Dynamics ProRace1 will clear even with 15x7" +45mm offset:

Other choices out there that will clear are:
- [15x7] Kosei K1 15x7 (+38mm offset)
- [15x7.5] SSR Competition (+43 offset)
- [15x7] Buddy Club P1 QF (+42 offset)
- [15x7] Real Racing R2 (+45 offset)
- [15x7] 5zigen FN-01R (+42 offset)
- [15x7.5] Advan RG (+42 offset)
- [15x7] TE37 (+35 offset) {clear with a .030 feeler gauge
- [15x7.5] Racing Hart CP-035 (+40 offset )
