Hey Guys,

I'll be purchasing a Honda Fit soon but not too sure where to really buy it. I went to two dealerships already at Happy Honda and Westwood Honda. Happy Honda did beat Westwood by a large margin but still looking for the best deal.

Looking at an automatic DX-A (At least) and an automatic LX.

Anyways glad to find a great forum like this! Hope you guys can help me

The most helpful Honda dealer has to be Vancouver Honda by far. Richmond Honda is the worst.

I bought my car from Brian at Middlegate Honda. Got a few other friends who bought cars from him too and pretty positive feedback so far.

Got my car at Kingsway Honda. Talk to Collen the Financing Mgr, or Dino the Parts Mgr... just let them know the JDM (turbo) 2007 NHBP Fit guy refer u and you will get the ROYAL treatment.

Better yet, PM me before you go for a testdrive.

Richmond Honda.. ask for Ricky - he is prolly the BEST sales there (He is actually on the forum)

Happy Honda... I guess they are alright. I took part in their show and shine last year and they are good people.

Kingsway Honda is pretty competitive. YOu should give them a call even if you are not gonan buy the car there. With the current economy, I am pretty sure you can knock down a few K off the MSRP. If not ask them to throw in oil change / filter for life or whatever you want - as long u are reasonable.

From my experience, bring your quote from Westwood and Happy Honda. And do your research on Craigslist before you go in.

ya definately can't wait,

seems like all dealerships are sold out on the Black LX right now, only one in Marv Jones Honda but that won't last long.

Most likely going to pick up in March or early April!

any ideas on the first things i need to do other then tinting my windows? Thinking rims any such.

ask for Amy @ Carter Honda or Rick @ Richmond Honda.

Rick is actually a member here so he'll treat you like family!

DO NOT do tinting at the dealership - thats the number 1 trap. Othe rplaces charge cheaper (A place down at kingsway / Fraser for example)

I would go for HID kit first... I cant drive with no HID (thats an excuse for myself for upgrade)

Rims / Tires... wait till Apr / May.. we are still in winter... there is no snow but we are NOt out of the woods yet.

Its always good to throw in a Double Din (Deck), Amp and Sub.

After that, see if u want cosmetics or performance... ur options are limitless

Thanks everyone, mostly going to have Guiness help me in negotiations with the fit since none of the dealers want to take off more then a few hundred bucks! But mostly still shopping around but going to be buying around mid march to april since none of them have a black one and also need to set up the funds for the vehicle!

Thanks for all the help! I can't wait to attend a meet up with my new fit!

If anyone else have more suggestions please let me know!
