Dam, Cali is the same way, LOL. but its not the cops that are picking on "tuners". its the "RICERS" that are giving the cops reason to Attack Modded cars and pull them over.

i agree with PizzaFit, stop smoking!!
Werd...I drive by cops all the time and nadda *knock on wood*. My car attracts a lot of attention as well but I've never been hassled. I got a friendly nod from one the other day as well! I keep my eyes on my mirrors and look for cop cars or potential undercover ones. They won't pull you over unless you're doing something wrong. Pretty simple.

As for where they hide out, AM730 is a good resource. Not only will you be able to avoid traffic spots but they have a radar report every few minutes.

essentially, IMO, the law enforcement personnel are picking on ricers/tuners because of the image tuned/riced up cars associate with crime

like in a recent movie by clint eastwood (gran torino), asian gangsters are depicted driving a ricey civic (huge ugly wing, large/bad fitting wheels, dark tinted window)

People, if everyone is driving 70kph, stick with the group and no one gets hurt. If you are in a hurry, leave your home / office a little earlier.. its not worth the rush anyway~

If the cops are all out to catch ricers / modders... perhaps we should show them that we are like any other commuters with a tad more love and respect for what we drive.

Driving 200KM/H om Hwy1 is just plan wrong imo...

??
i thought in china they implemented those electronic pass things so they know when you got on the highway and when you exited it...so by calculating the time you took they know if you sped or not.

Also, lots of bad image for modders already... lets try to show the world (or the cops at least) that modding is not a crime and we respect them as well

Good luck with that, for every three good modders that drive carefully and limit themselves to the track for fun there is a bad one that ruins it for everybody... probably more.
