as a respectable sized business in Vancouver, the only sensible explanation for not accepting credit cards is tax avoidance
I won't be surprised a bit that Peral Castle is one of those Chinese owned businesses that's just too cheap to play fair.

Well, tax is one thing.. a lot of people work for these places dont have working visa.. so its straight "under the table cash deal" kinda thing.

Of cos, credit cards also charge them extra 3%+ so...eitehr way, it will come back to us.

Also, they know that chinese tends to have cash on them (I dun) and they know that whatever rules they impliment, there's always customers.

True, that's why I prefer to patronize restaurants and stores that take credit cards. We should support business that pay proper taxes like we do.

We use eat there quite frequently after a round of golf with friends until.....a buddy put a spoonful of congee and spat it out after feeling something wierd. It turned out to be a whole big FLY! Yuk!

I experienced the runs too after eating there. Sorry, I am picky, but having a sensitive stomach....I have to be careful. Hahaha.

True, not critizing anyone. We all have choices to make and after all
we pay for the food we eat, right?

I prefer doing the AJR Meet. Can't run and dodge stupid paint balls as fast as you young guys. Prefer play with real guns and bullets, not paint ball peashooters.
