Replacing the GE8 Foglight Bulbs
Would like to replace the standard H11 55W bulb with a yellow halogen bulb. Came across these Nokya H11 80W bulbs:
Micro Image : NOKYA H11 80w Arctic Yellow bulbs
Anyone here have any experienced with these? Are they good quaality bulbs? Any risk of the OEM
wirings overheating with these 80W bulbs?
Please note that there is a HD wiring harness available for the high output Nokya H11 bulbs for the Toyota Yaris. Will this correct properly connect to our main harness? Here is the link:

TIA for your input/comments.

if you like the yellow housing look, just apply a yellow film of vinyl over the lens.
if you don't, then go with those bulbs. nokya is a very popular brand of light bulbs here in vancouver for some reason. They are reasonably priced. I would go with these over the more expensive brands such as Raybrig or other well known Japanese brands. Whatever bulbs just don't get Eurolites. The quality on those imo are iffy.

Same brand and 80W? No overheating problems; for sure?
Thanks for your feedback Fitster.

LMAO! Those aftermarket HID and bulbs have so much glare. Am just waiting for the day/night I'll get pulled over.

Thanks for the input Paul_A; good to know.
I just hope the 80W bulb will not melt the wires or housing as OEM is rated only at 55W.

Thanks chickz_magnet, I recently lowered it with Tanabe DF210s.
Now the hunt is on for alloy wheels and tires!

Benggolf, you can lower your headlight beam more towards pointing to the ground so that you won't blind people with those HIDs.
I have HIDs too and because of our huge housing, the glare is pretty bad, so I just aim it lower. I also DIYed my fogs yellow with vinyl. I personally like the look of yellow fogs housing.
