Since you didn't specify what model of FiT you are looking at, I can only offer this suggestion; if you get $2000 off and have the dealer strike off the PDI charges....you will have a rocking good deal.

Unfortunately, I hear that the cash incentives have ended and Honda now offers low leasing/financing rates.

Go see Ricky at Richmond Honda and he will help you get a good deal; people here will tell you he is a great guy to work with.
Good luck and happy hunting.

If Rick @ Rmd Honda doesn't work out then give Wilson Ng @ Vancouver Honda a call. I dealt with him before and he's a great guy. Honest and no bullshit salesman (which we really need more of)

honda fit is a lot of money for little value
given the budget and comparisons, I'd have to go with either Kia Soul or Saturn Astra rebadged Opel ($4000 rebate)

I like the Soul, it looks nice but I havent get the chance to test drive one. Also, the name KIA kinda bothers me - Kill In Action =\

VW Golf isn't bad either if you're looking to go the hatchback route.

If you're willing to bump up the budget a little more then I recommend a GTI. All you need to do is chip it and I think you get an extra 30-50hp (i forgot the exact number - friend told me this awhile back)

Ya..it worth the money, but if you gonna do the ecu reflash make sure it will work with DSG gearbox or you will screw up the gearbox.
