I could've had a k swap by now. I had 3 different cold-air intakes, 4 sets of wheels, mugen visors now jdm visors, 2 sets of fake JDM taillights. The rest is stuff I've bought and kept. I don't know, if I had to guess I'd say around $7,000

My last car was a money pit. I put in about 12K in repairs and maintenance alone. That didn't include any mods or gas.

I'm happy with the Fit so far, haven't done any maintenance or repairs to it yet. I've only spent about $400.00 so far in light mods in about 3.5 months.

$39.95 so far, for a compact air horn. I'm planning to order a custom sun shield through Amazon for that big honking windshield, which must really heat up a car parked in the sun all day. Maybe some Dynamat or equivalent, but only for the tire well, as the 2009 Fit is quieter than I had anticipated. MAYBE a center console for $230, but that could be a Christmas present. That's about all I have planned.

As someone who has owned both the JDM Honda visors and the Mugen visors, which one do you feel is the most effective? I personally like the JDM Honda look better, but the Mugen ones seem like they might be functionally superior.

I dunno which one is functionally superior, but I like that the JDM visors aren't as bulky and aggressive. I loved the Mugen when I had them on, but almost a year later, I really did get sick of them.

i got my fit just over 4 months now. it was a salvage fit for $6000. there's a few problems like cracked oil pan, vtec solenoid. together cost me just over $400 dollars for parts. other expenses went to a new fujita short ram intake with HKS High power axelback exhaust cost me around $700. bought some starter rims 17" sportmaxx 922 rims with wanli s1088 (horroble tires) lugs and gorilla locks cost me just over $1200.

money pit

I think any car that comes my way will be a money pit. If fact, anything on wheels including my mountain bike is a money pit.

I would dump $$$ in the Fit, but no job makes that impossible.

I dun think I spend too much money in the LOOOONG Run since I learn my lesson from modding the Fit.

I learn to grow out of it... so no MOD on my next car... at least thats what I hope to achieve =\

To date the mods have cost me around $1400.00! Crazy - the worst part is all appearance parts and no performance parts. There is just something about the Fit that makes moding so much fun.
