Lightbulb Graduate from Fitfreak - Becoming Senior?

Its been hard for the past few months. I had mixed feelings about whether to keep the car as a summer car, to part out and make it into a Daily driver, just to sell as is... It took me a few months to try out different approaches to see which way works the best for my car.

Well, I finally sold my car today as is to a new owner. I urged him to join our Fitfreak family, be an active member, and to treat the car with respect because it represents the fitfreaks. I am sure my car will be well taken care of and will represent our fitfreak community well.

I know a lot of you guys don't want me to sell the car in the beginning, but at the end, you are all very supportive. Therefore, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone of you for all the support - including those who flame me once in a while and those who actively put dibs during the partout.

Just cause I don't drive a fit anymore, it doesnt mean I will become a lurker. I'll try to bring in group buys whenever possible and be as active as I can - afterall, fitfreak is more than just a forum to me, its more like a family =)

It feels funny to see my car speed off while I am standing there watching it go, but knowing that it is in good hands, my mind is at peace.

Thanks again for all the fun~ Its been nice cruising with you lot. I'll be carpoolling with my fellow FFs whenever there's a meet... and I'll continue to flash my headlights twice whenever I see a fit~ maybe in time, I'll bring in the fit's cousin =P

The fit bought me a lot of good friends and happy memories - so thanks again - OTZ

Happy New Year 2010
Guinness

Pround Owner of NHBP JDM GD3 fr. 2006 Apr 7 to 2009 Dec 31

NOTE: I still accept +Reps

That must have been hard - you had an awesome Fit but just as anything in life sometimes it is the right time to move on. Glad you sold it to someone who is going to take care of it and love it as much as you did. Keep in touch and hope you have as much fun with the new ride.

Peace out!
Cat :x

It's sad to see you parted from your beautiful ride, but hopefully the new owner will be just as nice as you always were!

Good to see you through the transition, Guinness. I know you came out of it being a wiser, smarter, more mature person.

I know the new owner will take good care of your "Baby"...the legend lives on!

Lets all welcome him with a "toot", a flash or a wave when we meet him on the road.

Your Fit was/is definitely one of the best I've seen around - what are you going to drive now?
