All the Fit bashers over there have no idea what they're talking about. The Fit really is FUN to drive, and they'll never understand until they actually do so.

Well, I got to admit, its really entertainingto read how others think they know the fit when they dont even have the car.

The next thing they start bashing about will be how a Si is better than a Boeing 787 Dreamliner~

Sheesh. And I thought people on fitfreak.net could be rude. Whatever floats your boat is fine with me; in my case it was a Fit Sport AT.

Its amazing how the thread went from a simple opinion request between the Fit and Civic Si to an all out egotistical and way off topic flame war about horsepower.

lol that's such a dumb thread. People bash on the fit so much for no power but its all relative really. I love the fits(even more than the si) and if i could, I would go back in time and buy it instead of my cobalt lol. btw, I have no idea about most of them, but I know that eurochevy guy has a stage 2 cobalt ss so of course it's gonna turn into a hp flame war

it just so happens i came across an interesting term recently..

"arm-chair elitist" meaning all someone does is complain and flame even tho they may not be an expert in the field or they wont do crap about it.. i think this fits perfectly in this case

Look for the small book, On Bullshit, by retired Princeton philosophy professor Harry Frankfurt.

Frankfurt defines a theory of bullshit, defining the concept and analyzing its applications. In particular, Frankfurt distinguishes bullshitting from lying: while the liar deliberately makes false claims, the bullshitter is simply uninterested in the truth. Bullshitters aim primarily to impress and persuade their audiences. While liars need to know the truth to better conceal it, bullshitters, interested solely in advancing their own agendas, have no use for the truth.
