Hi to all Fit owners

My name is Roy and I'm from Vancouver Accords. Some of you will have seen me at the Tim Horton's on Marine Way at Byrne Road on a Friday night ( I have a '91 Accord wagon and a '96 Accord wagon with an H swap). I would like to invite all Fit owners (or any Honda and Acura vehicle owners) to come to the Burnaby Heights Association "Hats Off Day" Show-N-Shine. The date this year is June 5th, 2010 (first Saturday of the month). The Honda and Acura cars will all be lined up in the middle of Hastings in front of the Honda dealer (Happy Honda). Details of the event are here Hats Off Day Show & Shine | Burnaby Heights. A separate form for the Honda Show-N-Shine will be up on the web site shortly. For Honda and Acura cars there will be NO registration fee however a donation can be made if you wish. It's a fun event and there are trophies awarded in five categories (Best Original Factory, Best Pro Stereo Install, Best Amateur Stereo Install, Best Custom and Best of Show). Your Fit can be bone stock to highly modified, come one, come all so please consider attending. If you would like more info please give me a call. I'll post updates as they are available. If you know of any other Honda and Acura owners that would like to attend please pass this information along. There have been several Fit's last year and the year before so it would be great to see more this year!

P.S. The dealer usually provides a complimentary BBQ hot dog lunch for all registered entrants so that is why I encourage everyone to preregister (you can still register the morning of the event).

S2KI guys will receive an invite as soon as I register on the forum and post up the info. Two of our Vancouver Accords members have S2K's so I hope they will attend.

Fit's vs 1st Gen Civic's. Now there's a challenge that would be outstanding to see. Maybe we can line the Fit's up next to the 1st Gen's. What do you think?

 

I want to come up and see all the cool (different) things you guys get in a honda, i really want to see the EL i've seen a couple in seattle when i lived there for 6mo, and at the time i owned a jackson supercharged 98 civic 4dr. so i was really into seeing them

1st Gen Civic's brought seven vehicles the last time they came. I expect that many (or more) this year. Fit's should be able to bring at least that many or more. It's going to be a great photo op!
