Winter tires and wheels

Are there any good deals to be done locally (GVA) for a Winter tires and wheels set for a 2009 Fit?

I usually get my tires through Tirerack or Discountiredirect.

Don't think it's gonna be cheaper than what u can find in the states? It's about time to order now. I ordered my X-ice2 from tire rack when they were doing special at around this time couple years ago.....

What size of rims are u looking for?

Not sure if u're looking at steelies or mag rims? This place got some pretty decent pricing on some pretty good rims like team dynamics pro race, enkei RPF1 etc etc....

Mazda Performance Parts: Wheels-Tires: Wheels

Which will fit on Honda coz that gen's bolt pattern is 4x100 also. U should look at 6.5"-7" wide & offset from +38 to +45 for a GE? Other than that u can look into some civic/integra stock rims also. But they ain't cheap.

Haha I know that shop very well, my main car is a Miata, the Fit is the family car.

Not sure why I didn't think of that earlier but I actually have a spare set of 14" Miata wheels I could use.

Would 175/65R14 185/60R14 be a good match for the Fit?

Welcome to the forum FAB

hey I just pickup my new Koing rims from Point Roberts yesterday
very nice, I show the customs officer the receipt and paid $63 HST
the same set if I were to buy here in Vancouver will cost me $800-850
I only paid $600 all taxes included.

I am regular Point Roberts user as well, actually went to TSB yesterday to pick up some parts for the Miata

I never really looked into winter tires before. The all seasons were enough to cope with the "harsh" Vancouver winter.

But the Fit tires are getting a bit worn down, so I figured it couldn't hurt to have a set of winter tires just in case.

Right now I am leaning toward some General Altimax Arctic in 175/65R14 from DTD

Fab: Nice I wish I got a miata also. Good friend of mine got one pretty built up. I always liked miata so that's why I check out good-win-racing a lot too.

I have been stalking you! :P

I just did an Advanced search on your username for Autocross. Most people I know who do track days (Your signature) also went to an autocross at least once.
Since I missed very few VCMC or UBC autocross the past 2 years, there was a good chance we met at an event.

Yeah I used to autocross way more often with my old car when it was still at Boundary Bay awhile ago. But not anymore. May do a few more events next year.
