I have a 2009 Honda Fit (bought and driven in Canada) and I'm trying to find the paint code so I can repair it.

I've searched the forums here and it seems that the paint code is supposed to be on the drivers' side door jamb. So I've looked there and I can find the following codes:

1594KG
the VIN number
F872KG
R735KG

Can anyone tell me which of these is the paint code?

The car is black. I'm thinking its Crystal Black Pearl....

 

The paint code is listed on the same side of the driver's door jam as the door hinge catch. In other words, if you were to face the rear of the car while looking at the door jam you should find it above the door hinge catch in black letters on a white sticker.

Below, I have all the colors and their codes listed. Just print this post/jot them down and find the matching one. Hope this helps.

So it is, indeed Crystal Black Pearl, code NH731P.

For those people in Canada with a 2009 Honda Fit - look for the sticker on the door jamb with the BAR CODE on it. Underneath the bar code, in the middle, (roughly), in tiny letters is the paint code.

 

If you just need a spray can go to Crappy Tire. I got my Taffy White ones there. It said Taffeta White. I am sure the black will be label similar as Crystal Black Pearl.
