Thumbs up 2nd Group Meet

OK, it seems that we have 4 people that confirm their preference for a Saturday night meet.

Therefore, our next group meet will be at the parking area of White Spot, Richmond Centre, #3 Road, Richmond this Saturday at 9PM.

Those who can attend, please chime in. See you all guys.

Certainly can! Please suggest some routes and we can decide when we meet.

Exclamation Meet Tonight Postponed!

It is 4:10PM Saturday afternoon (November 25) and it is snowing like mad outside. Perhaps it will be prudent for us to call off the group meet tonight.

No point in having to drive dead slow among many inexperienced "BC drivers" on slippery roads tonight! That's really something I would rather not do.

If there are no objections, we will just postpone the meet to next weekend or sometime soon. Thanks.

I wasn't sure I was going to make the meet today since I knew I was painting at a client's house. We finished cleaning up for the day around 9:00pm, and the wife was pretty tired. So I figured I'd drive her home first and come to the meet. Glad I checked the forum before heading back out.

From what little distance I drove from the client's home to mine, the Fit handles very easily in the light snow. No wheelspins, so slipping, no drama. Of couse I'm not driving like a madman either, but it's pretty much what I expected from the car. Very good. BTW, I'm running the non-sport 14" steelies with the stock P175/65R14 tires, which are probably slightly better in the snow since they're skinnier than the P195/55R15 on the Sport models.
