Next time - I'm in... I stopped reading this forum for Hawaii since I got my fit - it was almost inactive till recently..

I have a ssm 07 base with 15x7 Work knock-offs (black) with a polished lip, Mishimoto Carbon-Fiber intake and custom exhaust.. I also did the MOnroe Airshock rear conversion.

How old is everyone on this thread on Oahu? I live in Royal Kunia and am 35 years young... hahahahha.. Damn Im old...

 

Most of us are older than 21.

I have a daughter who is 24 and bought my 2007 BOM Fit sport to use in California where she lives with her husband.

I don't happen to think you are old (too old), more like "seasoned".

That pic looks like the Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio? Last time a bunch of cops cornered that parking lot when there was some "ricer" cars reported and handed out a bunch of tickets... Everything from recon to tint to wheel etc etc etc..

I know we don't fit the ricer mode - but just a heads up. Cool pics!

Yeah, it was @ the Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio. It was a gorgeous day! We were lucky. Today it was crazy voggy. A co-worker said the Infinity Club met by the tennis courts on Sunday too. Next time though....I'm bringing a cooler!...sodas and/or water!!...and maybe some bentos (K's bentos) too.

Pixelating the license plates...I'm not sure why people do it. I saw them "blurred" in some pic/meet threads and "not-blurred" in other threads. I'd be fine showing my license plate...unless someone says why it's bad...but I figured...eh...just in case...

I know of a Sunday June 1 cruise in the morning.

Being organized now with a few clubs- Z club, Miatas, and MINIs.

If interested I can ask but I don't know where they are going to go yet.

The cruise is set for Sunday June 1 meet by 9am sharp.

Parking lot in front of Ward Center Theatre off of Ala Moana Blvd near Kewalo basin and Ewa entrance to Ala Moana Park.

I think they want to leave at 9am so meet up early 845am is good.

Maunawili curvy roads near Castle junction
Past Girls correctional center
Hills near enchanted lakes
Waimanalo
Makapuu
Hawaii Kai (maybe stop for lunch)
Back to town.

That's because Beer IS cheaper than gas.

So who is up for this so that I can tell the organizers how many to expect.

If you have a family radio you can bring it, we will be using them to keep in contact from our cars.

I need a head count for anyone interested in staying for eating at Kona Brewery at the end. If you just want to drive then no problem.

Don't forget to meet promptly so we can get an early start 9am.

So far about 9 from the Miata Club and 10 from the MINI club.
