i know its not really in the right forum...

but i kinda changed the setup i was going for, so i kinda have some money to use, i guess. the spoon N1 muffler is on sale @ aj-racing, and ive been thinking about getting it, but i dont know because its loud. ive been listening to a lot of sound clips and it doesnt seem that bad..

ive been thinking about getting the medallion touring too.. or idk.

what do you guys think? yay or nay.

I got the Tanabe Touring cuz it was supposed to be one of the quieter ones. It's quiet @ idle & low rpms and has a decent tone when u get on it...not fart-canny. Can check 'em out @ one of the meets or if u going to the SCCA on 11/16 I'll be running @ 9:45am.

Yeah, I heard the spoons were on the louder side.

yeah i think i'll go to the quieter route.. since its a daily driven car and my gf usually uses it. she would go bonkers on me if i got the spoon n1.

randy where did order yours? i was browsing a little today and some of the places charges way too much for shipping.

im the same way, likes the sporty sound but i still dont want people gettin too annoyed by it [like my parents ] so i plan on using the megan axel back. forgot how much it costs but i think its a decent price. hear is the sound. i honestly listen to it every now and then, just to remind me why i should use that muffler

^ really? how?

i did a little bit more looking around, i think im pretty interested in the T1R 50s ver. 2 muffler also... i know its pretty stock looking but i know i can trust T1R.

ha, i might end up running a full T1R exhaust system in the future if i pull through with this muffler.

Hey kingsize,

I got mine from Robear Racing on 11/2007:
$345.00 - Tanabe Medalion Touring
$ 90.41 - Shipping
--------
$435.41 - Total
=======

Was expensive compared to others. Yeah, like enjoito said...it does hang a tad lower than I expected. But so far..so good.

I was actually looking @ the Megans as well. If I got that one, I'd have painted the cannister black like some of the other folks. Plus, it's a lot cheaper.

Saw your post about the T1Rs...yeah, those s/b good too. Good luck in finding the right one.
