Hawaii "Toys For Tots" Cruise
Just thought I'd let everyone know that this Saturday, Dec. 6 there will be the annual "Toys For Tots" cruise. The cruise will be from the Kapolei K-mart parking lot to the Kaneohe Marine Corp Base Hawaii (MCBH) where the gifts will be the dropped off. Roll-out is @ 10:30am sharp!!! Every driver must see KOKOMO (the man in charge) before roll-out to get your pass to enter the base or you will not be allowed in!!! NO PASS, NO ENTER!!!
Also requested by KOKOMO is that you purchase your toy from the Kapolei K-mart and tell the cashier that it's for the "Toys For Tots" cruise. They are expecting 200 to 300 cars.
A good cruise for a good cause...

I went. Pretty good turn out.
Nice weather for a drive on the H1 to H3 then over the the Marine base to drop off the toys. Then back again over the H3 to Pearlridge for lunch then off to town to pick up my son.
If you are interested in doing this next year then send him your contact person name and email or phone number and he will get to you with info. About the same time of year and likely to be in same area.
Overall lots of cars so go early and walk around to see what comes in.
People requested a long drive rather than in the past meet at Magic Island then slow parade drive to Kapiolani Park for toy drop off.
This year we broke up into small groups then drove over and met up on base. No hassle getting on base with the purple pass, they were cool.
