Question Anyone get pulled over for HIDs on Oahu?

Pretty much a noob question but has anyone got pulled over on Oahu for HIDs? Thinkin about getting the Xenith retrofit 4300K or 6000K but don't want to waste the $$ if HPD is gonna hassle me

Im not no where near the hawiiwii area, but knowing cops, they would only pull you over if your lights look too bright, 4300K is the same color temperature as stock, and shoudnt disturb oncoming drivers, retrofit or not, unless its angled up. 6000k, barely possible, but can still happen. ill leave the rest to the locals

I have 4300k Bi-Xenons and 3000k fogs and I'm very happy with both. I can drive during the night with confidants knowing I don't have to worry about getting pulled over by the pigs.
I know quite a few people that got tagged with 6000k.

hmm lets see i pass cops all the time with my hids blingging. as long u not running 8k it should be okay. well even if u get pulled over 90% of the time tickets for bright head lights get thrown out. cause the cops views lately have been wack even more so the new ones they dont know crap and try give u tickets for random stuff. well hmm i run 6k and its perfectly fine. no problems. but if anything try get 5k thats what i wanted but its hard to find a 5k kit.

I guess I'll play it safe then and get either 4300k or 5000k (I wonder if 5000k will piss off the rookie cops). Still haven't decided between Xenith and Race Factory. Any suggestions/comments on either or some other brand?

i also have a 6k kit. i always drive by cops and even next to them and i get no problems. theres even cops with HIDs once in awhile. im sure if you're headlights are not too bright, not colored like really blue or pink or anything obnoxious, and aimed properly, you should be fine.

I take it everyone here adjusted their headlights to cut the glare or direct it more down (still haven't adjusted mine but they seem a little high) . . . Thinking that maybe I should check out the Xenith kit. . . No one seems to have tried the Race Factory kit. . .

so i picked up the RF 6000K kit. . . installed yesterday and drove around the neighborhood to see the difference. the passenger side was aimed super high (lighting up trees, etc) and i couldn't tell if the driver's side was good to go so i aimed it low to be on the safe side (don't wanna blind oncoming traffic). haven't got high beamed yet but we'll see on the way to work tomorrow.

anyone go pics of their HID retrofit beam pattern? found the headlight adjustment link (Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply) on an old thread but still not sure if my headlights are adjusted right.

last thing. i noticed on the RF kit that the high beam halogen bulbs are on the side of the HID low beam bulbs. are they supposed to be on the inside or outside of the low bulbs?

sorry for the random post. it's a sunday and i should be sleeping early instead of drinking (thankfully, not alone) and posting stuff here. shoots.
