cop revoked my recon for bogus reason. didnt check anything. didnt measure anything. took my papers and sticker.

might be selling my rims and coilovers. coilovers are skunk2 proc got about 10k miles. rims are ssr sp1r professor super black coat 16x7 +39 front are normal dish, rears are deep dish. rear tires got choke tread almost brand new, front tires are almost bald. cherry, no curbs just small scratches and a few tiny dings from small rocks.

also got t1r rear brake conversion, got everything but the parking brake is broken on both calipers and the steel braided hose for the front is still on my car not sure if ill remove it.

OK maybe I am clueless? What is 'recon'?

 

In Hawaii whenever you modify your car it has to pass "Recon" inspection. Wheels can't rub fenders, exhaust can't be too loud, no blue lights on vehicle, stuff like that.

We should make a bumper sticker which says " Modding car is not a crime". I think Recon is the most retarded law, coz you still have to go through safety check no matter what.

 

meh, recon was just another way for the state gov't to make money. too bad they rarely use it to fix roads and what not. as much as i miss being home, i really don't miss recon and annual safety checks.
