Are you serious!? hmmm... as I recall, I bought extended warranty and paid for shipping cost... wait is shipping part of cost??? (I bought my fit at the end of 2007)- when the dealership said it had to special ordered. Long story short, on the day I was looking to buy a car, they introduced me to the Fit (only a base) bcs original people that ordered it couldn't drive MT, thus I ended up buying it at the time. Would that be the reason why I'm paying so much??? (and I don't even get an Ipad )

Get your coffee and food so you can be alert for the next step.....
Then the finance guy will always add tax, destination and documentation fees and add ons to the total. Then they try to get you to get extended warranty and rust proofing or reverse sensors.

It's good to set the price with the sales person no more than the msrp. (first sticker) At this point it's really good to have a financial calculator with you so you can monitor radical changes in monthly payment.

28k? Kind of high for a car with an msrp of only $18530 (17760+770 destination) What did you add to the car?
