Kraftwerks KraftWerks designs and manufactures Rotrex-based supercharger kits for the Honda Fit. The KraftWerks Fit kits have shown excellent gains across the entire power band and represent the pinnacle in forced air induction for this . At the core of each KraftWerks Fit kit is a patented Rotrex traction drive supercharger, capable of over 150,000 RPM. The proprietary design allows the Rotrex supercharger to be lighter, smaller, quieter, cooler, and run higher RPMs than all other competing superchargers, and results in superior efficiency, reduced emissions, and improved transient response. KraftWerks Supercharger kits offer a broader, more usable power than anything on the market. A broad power band makes for a better street and race car, and demonstrates the superiority of the Rotrex design.

what exactly from the GD Fit KraftWerks Kit WONT fit into the GE8?

Are the Intake manifold flanges the same or different?

I am also waiting on a GE kit and would be my #1 choice vs a Engine Swap but if its not out by summer 2010 or atleast on Official plans then i will go K series swap.

Better start on that K series swap. They haven't even thought of starting a SC kit for the GE8, and you think they can do the R&D, prototyping, production & marketing all in 6 months? It would probably take a year to make the kit.

I gave up on Kraftwerks. I'm going to start praying for HKS to make a turbo kit.

Yeah, I'd rather have a SC cause of stupid C.A.R.B. laws here in Cali. Turbo is out of the question.

GE8 SC or Turbo

I see it has been 6 months since anyone has followed up on this thread. Anything new on the SC front? or turbo?

Last time I was on YouTube, I saw that how has built a new turbo kit for the GE-8. It didn't make crazy horse power, cause it was just a bolt on.

Approach Kraft Werks at an angle?

Has anyone thought of approaching Kraft Werks with a compromise? I don't know what the cost for R&D would be for a GE8 Kit, but since they have a kit for the earlier Fit that should defray some of their cost. They probably can use the same blower with new brackets and tubing. I would be willing to put up a deposit in advance for a $3000 SC Kit. If enough people would also commit (say 50 people at $1000 each = $50,000) they would have the funds to develop the kit and have guaranteed customers waiting for the product. If $50,000 is not enough then they could hold the deposits in an escrow account until they have enough to proceed. If they don't get enough committed customers then they can refund the deposits and keep the earned interest. Well Fit Freaks, what do you think? Should we be talking to KW? Willing to put your money where our collective mouths are? Let me know your thoughts.
