GD3 Time Attack Car

GD3 Time Attack Car
Anyone in the Las Vegas community into Time Attack? I'm interested in building a Time Attack GD3; they have them in Japan, why not here? I'm interested in all of your opinions regarding this. Please let me know if you think this is an either incredibly stupid or brilliant idea...

I'd love to see it! I know there are a few K swap GD3's that do track events and a boosted L15 as well that's on this forum.
I regularly do AutoX in mine (SCCA Solo.) So I would be happy to share any notes that I have which would apply!
What is you initial plan for the build? Any main goals? I used to know where a JDM RHD caged GD3 shell was locally in CA LOL

I have a boosted fit with stock internals; it's fun! I recently purchased another L15A and have it in storage awaiting it's appointment at the machine shop in Costa Mesa, CA. I have all the upgraded internals; those are also going to the machine shop to be lightened and balanced. My crank and camshaft are being lightened, induction hardened and put through a cryogenic process for durability. John Edwards is doing allot of other modifications to the rotating assembly, block, and head at his shop. I've been overly focused on engine modifications that I lost focus on other components that make a race car. What suggestions or comments regarding your cars' performance, handling, aero, etc, during your SCCA races can you offer?

You also need to talk to a user on here, Previc93 as he has a boosted GD3 with aero that he does time trials with NASA AZ I believe. Unofficial Honda FIT Forums - View Profile: Previc93
I will be shooting you a PM as well...

Also, JCrim used to Road race his Fit both before and after K swap and he has TONS of useful info in his thread. Be warned it is VERY long!

I did. I'm currently in the process of securing some sponsorship. I have a wide choice at what to run so I wanted to ask the Community for some input; what would you like to see ran, or what would you want on or in your Fit if you had the option?

The Spoon fit and AJ-racing both had time attack cars that ran when they had a class dedicated to B-spec. The Spoon fit was NA and AJ ran boost. I know the J's/Nobless ran some serious Time Attack cars in Japan.
Would love to see something built.
