To me these are 2 different options with each its merit.

The Downpipe has a resonator that looks like a catalyser to the profane (less suspicious to cops). It should help in keeping the noise down a bit. The header has really nice gains in the lo-rpm. I would also consider the ease of installation of 2 pieces vs one long piece. The combo also comes down cheaper, doesn't it?

The Racer might add more torque throughout and higher revs than the combo, which is good for speed and tracks.

To me, the two options seem like good affordable products and their applications slightly different.

No dropping the K member is no longer required, We changed it to a 2 piece to be a easier install.

gee....I got cash ready when I first heard of this, then becasue of the fact it's a one piece, and I have decided to go with a seperate header and testpipe, and now you tell me this........=______=..........

I know a guy who would buy my header...but its hard to sell a test pipe...only if I can get someone to take my megan test pipe, I ll be making to jump to this one ^__~

Please don't take this as a flame because I am not trying to do this at all. I am interested in this header, but I have read in other posts about a problem with fitment. I live in the land of muscle cars and 4x4's, so I am on my own when it comes to the import world. I don't want to purchase a product and have to make mods to make it work. This is my transportation for my 105 mile daily trip so it needs to be dependable. Nobody said dependable means boring though If anyone has installed these please let me know what challenges you did or didn't face. Thanks in advance for your input! WR thanks for making a good product us average Joes can afford!

the only problems with fitment was the support bracket. some didnt line up im not sure why but a few people are not running that part and its still working fine.

Emissions?

Weapon R website says it's 'for offroad use only.' Can you elaborate a bit? Emissions/warranty?

Or is that for the race version?
