typically carbon fiber is used because it is much lighter then other materials and its somewhat strong. in this case though for a mani cover its pretty much just for show cause there really isnt any weight reduction and there is no real strength needed.

the shipping was very quick. it took about a week to get to my door and it was very nicely wrapped so nothing would happen to it. the fittment was perfect. it is an exact to the T mold of the oe except the smoothed out vtec emblem and screws. the instalation as most know is very easy. especially with the cf cover cause all you have to do is put on the 2 bolts. the screws are just studs that go into the orignal holes (refer to sdPANNfit's picks earlier in the thread if i confused you). i am very happy with the service and product from sdPANNfit and i will def buy from him again. no questions asked. also check out his thread on group buys https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/merc...group-buy.html he is always looking for ways to help fitfreakers. rep+ to you BJ.

what are the chances your friend can make a cf grill and the bubble over the gauge cluster? i would be into those for sure. foglight covers in cf would be pretty sweet looking too. i dont think they even make those so you might be able to make a killing. eyelids for usdms would be sweet too. i found some before but they were jdm's and didnt fit our headlights.

Thanks so much for that!
You want a OEM Grill and the piece over the cluster?
he wrapped the fog light covers befaore and they looked nice.
I dont think he wants to do anything for me until i sell the rest of his engine covers.
I had alot of interest but a bunch of flakers.

i HAVE 5 left!!!

Thanks for helping...in turn if you want them wrapped i will get them wrapped for you?

Because it would be hard to make a mold because he would want to make like 10 but if you want i will make it happen for you.

If we can get 10 for sure i can make it happen. He just doent wanna spend so much time and developing a mold if its for you. It would be quite pricey. But i will do all that i can to get some of that made for you if you like.

You know that piece thats above the license plate? Its between the rear window and the license plate. It looks removable to me. I've seen some fit member here that have had it painted, any chance you do this or can do this in cf?
