I'm a bit north of you in Montgomery county, Maryland. Tons of Fits here, the closer you get to DC, the more you see. But most are commuters. I don't see too many modded ones, even most of the manual cars I see are just used as a-b cars. A lot of more wealthy people use them to haul their bikes or dogs due to the magic seats.

Northern Virginia here. Mine is lightly modded with tint, hks exhaust, Sumole intake with k&n drop in, LED in lights etc. It's mainly a commuter but TBH I've had the benefit of working from home during COVID. We did have to start going back 2x a week last year but I'm still doing very minimal driving. Last year I did less than 3700 miles for example lol
Pre COVID I was doing 20k a year, but with WFH and moving closer to work it's going to be low mileage. Around 99k miles on my 2015 last I checked.
