Ok, well, I just bought a mugen suspension package.

Thanks to Vic for giving me his old blown GD shocks so I could test-fit and ensure the mugen suspension would fit.

Yeah man, the shocks you gave me were blown. No biggie, I was going to get them revalved anyway.

I saw a deal on a mugen suspension setup on this board, and I jumped on it.

If I remember correctly from my auto-shop class, if you store a strut fully extended, it starts to leak. That could be it. Dunno. Not fussed about it. They served their purpose, and they will probably still get rebuilt eventually.

Wet Willy's Crab Deck-Wet Willy's Crab Deck

We should have our meet right there. It's got some nice twisty roads nearby, easy access to 95, 40, 695, 70 and there's a couple carwashes, autoparts stores, and parking lots nearby.

I wrapped the header on my dirt bike. It was a bitch to do, but like most things, take your time and do it right the first time. I used DEI products and they worked well. They have sewn in guided to help you maintain overlap and they sell a nice silicon spray to seal the wrap against oil and moisture.

If you you wet the wrap before applying it, it'll shrink up even tighter when it dries, which will help out a lot too.

Cool, thanks for the tips. I'll probably do the wrap sometime next month.

In other news:

GSR Blades = <33

They're not completely cleaned, and they've only got like 4/32 of tread on the tires, but whooot. Not bad for what I paid.
