Fireman - cool - I work in Horsham - saw a black fit on the northeast extension yesterday and a VBP at a phillies game on July 6th. So far those are the only two I've seen in the area...

Horsham's not far. Until the day I picked mine up from the downingtown dealer, I did not see any fits on the roads in Montgomery County. The day I pick mine up I saw a VBP and NBP in my town.. DARN, I wanted to be special.

I just picked up my Fit yesterday! I had one on order for about two months at Ourisman Bethesda, but I found out two days ago from another dealer that Ourisman didn't even have any allocated in the computer! I was pretty pissed! I called about 15 different dealers trying to track one down and I was able to find one in Mahway, NJ about 280 miles away... It's a White Sport Manual that someone had put a deposit down, but couldn't get financing (sorry guy! I stole your Fit). I just happened to call at the right time; the car was being unloaded as I phoned the dealer. It was pure luck! The reason it has been so hard for me to find my car is that I only wanted a Sport Manual, and I guess everyone realizes how hard they are to come by.

Hey, another Philly-ite here Got my VBP Sport on July 13.

I've seen about 10 Fits since I bought mine - my latest sighting was this afternoon on Valley Forge Road in KOP, where I work. A SSM Fit Sport was merging onto 442W. I slowed as I passed the male driver, but I don't think he noticed me until I drove by, lol. I also saw a Red Sport Fit going down Lincoln Drive on the 8th, and one on the Schuylkill a few days before (different drivers, but both were women). It excites me to see so many Fit owners. And, I saw a red base Fit parked on Henry Ave. last Sunday. We need a Fit sightings thread, lol.

So, guys, how's about a meet? Be more active, mid Atlantic people!

Looks like Mid-Atlantic/Maryland is a little slow these days, but new owner checking in. Got my fit from Hersons Honda, I live in Gaithersburg, and work in DC. Any active Mid-Atlantic people still hanging on gasping for air?

I don't know anyone with one. I see quite a few of them up here in DC though, probably two or three every day on my commute. My cousin lives down in Richmond, I am trying to swing him around to the Fit way of thinking. He's an ex Civic hatchback owner, which I think is kind of a natural transition.

I see plenty of fits in and around DC, but they probably just not the internet forum type.
