true, this seems like more of a NoVa meet than a va meet. imo needs to be more centralized. might wanna post up in the maryland section since maryland is as close as 50 min away from the proposed meeting location and just change it to a NoVa/SoMd meet.

unfortunately we wont be able to make the 3.5 hr drive up there. BUT if anyone would like to set up at meet somewhere closer.. as in still in the 757 we would def be able to be there.

 

I believe MD is included in the "mid atlantic region" as being there is no seperate section for maryland.

 

what i meant was since this meet is being held so close to md yall should include md into it also because with the location being soo far in nova it makes it a closer drive for md than some people in va. that is the only reason we wont be able make it. just saying limiting to just va and not everyone plus the location will result in a lower turnout.

This sounds good. We will come on any Saturday or Sunday at anytime of the day. The thing is I found out yesterday that I'm not getting the Fit back until Friday August 5th. And will be out of town August 19th through the 29th. Any other weekend will be fine. I like the idea of the parking garage. I've never been up there but I'm sure its a good spot. I took these pic's of my Miata with my droid on top of the parking garage at Midtown at CityView apartments (see Trashmore in the background?)

 

Well when this thread was created, by another person, there was no specific location stated. So I took it into my own hands and made a new, more organized thread in the proper location "car shows and events" I called it a "Mid Atlantic Fit Meet" which is being held in VA.

This thread here was more for brainstorming and getting a meet together. I realize some people wont be able to make the drive, but that would be the case where ever in VA you put it. I actually been talking to FitVic, whos in MD, and he thinks this is too far of a drive. Some people don't mind the drive, as you can tell by the amount of interest from the "Va Beach/chesapeake" fitters.
