Can anyone recommend a shop around Alexandria, VA to get a pre-purchase inspection done?

 

I'm a big fan of the Chevron on the corner of Ravensworth Rd and Little River turnpike (next to the Kid's First gym). This is in Annandale which isn't too far from Alexandria.

 

Pengy, are you getting the car from Sheehy Honda on Route 1 or Landmark Honda over on Duke Street? If the latter, then I would recommend you go over to Wiygul on Pickett Street. If Sheehy, then go to my mechanic at Huntington Car Care on Huntington Avenue. Another great resource is repair pal. There is a mechanic locator at the top of the page. This resource at least has a "big brother" overseer (repair pal management) that ensure that the mechanics listed are charging at or less than the published prices listed in the estimator. Feel free to use it should you not want to use the mechanics I have suggested. I visited Lewis at My Tech Automotive (one of the shops listed in my area) and was very impressed by the owner's knowledge and demeanor.
