Ne seems dead
Hey there. I’m fairly new to the Honda Fit family. I bought a 2013 Fit Sport last August. Due to COVID, etc...I’ve only put 1,000 on it ( it’s a 2nd car). It’s a really nice car. I just had the oil changed because of time vs miles. Honda replaced both drive shafts due to recall this week. I replaced the whip antenna with a VG shark fin. Now that the weather is changing and gas prices are rising it’s going to be my go to vehicle.
Welcome Sailor! I'm new as well! What other mods do you have in store for your fit? I have an AEM intake, and mishimoto catch can on the way. New wheels, maxxim brand. cheap mods are the most fun!
Hey MAG07220...next are replacement carpeted front mats. The ones that came with the car are fairly worn. The dealer and a Honda genuine parts company want $457 for the mats with the blue threading around the edge ( this is what I have now). I can get the all black carpeted mats without the blue threading for $70 for all 4 mats. I hope the quality is good. BTW I watched a video on a 2013 Fit and just realized that the back seats go up and there’s a storage compartment underneath the driver’s side back seat! Pretty cool if you need to carry a flat screen TVs or bike, etc...
Nice man! I feel like the OEM parts are very overpriced. Nice job finding a suitable replacement for much less money!! Mine has flimsy rubber mats, Ill be looking for a heavier duty rubber ones to replace them. I love the Honda fit seats too! it folds so flat, Its like a mini moving van! Super versatile car, its too bad its not more popular. I think I saw a thread on here about what you can fit, in your fit! I saw lots of 65"tv's, 8 foot plywood boards, and other things. It would be a nice little camper too, i'm sure! Keep me updated with your mats! I may have to get some for the summer months up here!
