Now I'm assuming it's bring your own food?

 

I think you got the date wrong on the s2ki forum it says June 6th. Should be June 2nd.

So what are we doing for food people?

Last BBQ we had allot of leftovers. Not sure what the best way to handle it is. Spoon Fit suggested we bring our own food to grill which sound like a good idea to me.

Of course people can also bring stuff for everyone too. I myself will be bringing a grill and charcoal plus some food(not sure what yet). It would be nice to have more than one grill there so if anyone else has one please bring it.

I guess they have grills there we can use too but depending on what time we get there they might be taken.

Any suggestions?

Cool. Next week i am gonna take a run to the dock to check it out and report. Being it is so close to my workplace i can stop there on the way.

 

Whoa! Stuff is getting crazy at work and my team is trying to get myself and another guy sent out to Santa Monica California directly after our NYC business trip, which has been moved back until the 11th i think so things are looking better for me showing up. woot. still unconfirmed though.

 

so everyone bring their own food?? Just like Brian said "we had so many left over last time", so let see what you guys want. Should NY FitFreak go shopping together before we heading to NJ??

Anyway, We never talk about the time!!! I said 11:00 for NYC FitFreak, then NJ guys be there 12:00 - 12:30 is good??? but think better earlier to get the spot for all people..............sorry Mike or any NJ guys would you mind do us a favor to get there earlier???

When we get closer, we have to design where is the Meeting point for NY Guys........I think we are going to take 295 to throug neck bridge, right? So, anyone know where has a lot that we can wait for each other??

Got to stop at Ross Dock this morning and i didn't want to leave. It is beautiful! Nice pick Mike!

Anywayz...here's the skinny:

As i couldn't find an exact address for my GPS so i followed the directions i posted earlier. Here's a link to the website: Driving Directions (Palisades Interstate Park - NJ Section)

Depending on which way you are coming, you will wind up on Main St. and it will curve around to the right. That is River Rd. As soon as you come around the bend start slowing down. The entrance is on your left less than 100 yards. Look for a blue sign that says "Welcome to Edgewater"
and pull in to the left there. The entrance sign to the park is partially covered by brush but follow that narrow road down to the dock.

The views are spectacular! Plenty of space. I counted at least 8 grills in different locations. I am going to bring mine just in case. Several trails were spotted for hiking and paved trails too. Going to bring my rollerblades!

ok!!! Guys since we had two post to talk about the meet. I think some of the people getting confusing about it. So I just summarize all the info. that we are having now.

We got the update, The NYC Guys will roll up to NJ to meet the NJ FitFreak member. We are planning to wait at the Startbuck near by GW bridge (address below). NYC guys will wait at the Queens area (exactly location Still pending) at 10:30am or 11:00am (still pending).

We are going to NJ for BBQ (address below), we are going to shop at the meeting point at NJ King supermarket, so we can design what else that we need. Who has the grill?? we want you to bring one in case the Park get pack and we don't have any grill. leonine will bring one grill so I guess we need one more that gonna be enough (Thank you for your cooperation). Cooler I will bring a small cooler to the BBQ. We may need more, so whoever has cooler bring there PLZ!!!

Sounds like a plan Stan! I am going to get their around 10:30 or so and try to get a good spot so i will see youz anytime after that.

Bring some stuff for entertainment like A RADIO!, games, etc...

I am bringing some frizbees and my rollerblades.
