NYC/PA/NJ/CT Summer Big MEET 8/17
List of what is needed:
Paper plates, cups, utensils, napkins
Hot Dogs - Buns
Hamburgers - Buns
Chicken
Salad
Veggies (gotta have your veggies)
Soda - Coke/Pepsi, Sprite, Diet whatever
Bottles of Water
Mustard, Ketchup, A1 sauce
Salad dressing
Portable chairs
Games (be thinking about what we can do)
Matches, charcoal
Do we need a portable grill so we're not outta luck if the place is crowded?
I'll bring the veggies and salad. I might bring a 10x10 or 10x15 tent so we have some shade if needed. I'll have my wifey drive my cargo van.

Guy I just fond out the problem that if people sign up for something, how can we share the $$. let say some one just bring the cup and plate that should not over $10 - $15, if we give the $$ back to the person, that is little bit crazy. how about everyone bring their own stuff to go and then share one grill. We can share the extra food also (I don't mind). In this case we don't have to deal with the money to each person.

The Tent is a very good idea if you don't mind do that. then everyone can enjoy the time there.

Who's buying hot dogs?

It's that simple.
Come on folks, anti-up! This is a BBQ, it's just doesn't happen on it's own. We need participation besides members just showing up.

My biggest reason for not picking something to bring is that I just don't know if I'll be going or not as it really depends on how I'm feeling the day before and the day of to make the 2+ hour drive to get there. So if I'm completely whiped from work the day before and don't wanna drive down I don't wanna screw everyone else over by not having what I was supposed to bring.

I REALLY want to go on a meet. I just got my Fit a month ago and I'm dying to check out other people's Fits. Unfortunatly I just calculated the distance from Boston and it's a 4 hour drive. Yikes.
I was hoping for the Beach Meet in Mass but the link has been dead lately.
Hopefully us New Englanders can get something solid going soon.

i brought the grill last year so i can certainly accomodate again but last year we had 2. someone else should bring one as well.

Hey Leonine! Long time no see! Happy to see you guys again soon. Lets see if we have any new members coming out. I dont really mind whether you guys buy the stuff and then collect money or everyone bringing something as long as everyone will have a good time. See you guys that day!
