TSFC sounds great. I'm in for the 13th as well.
Liberty State Park here we come.
Have you guys decided what you guys are going to do for the event...
Picnic with sandwiches...? I know it sounds a little cheesy unless we bbq.

score04w,

Nice on the logo.

Would you mind sending me the file of the logo? Uncompressed so I can move around the layers.
I just wanted to play around with it but I can't seem to find outlines as crisp for the states as yours.
I have a few ideas that I would like to try my hand at.
What program do you use? I have the adobe suite if that makes sense to ya.
I just haven't played with those programs in ages.
If not no worries I'll figure something out.

Dario,
What were you ideas on the logo design. Maybe one of us can help you sketch it out or something.

i use photoshop and illustrator(which is apart of my adobe creative suite 4). Find a map of ny, nj and ct. It can include more states, just have to delete them after. Bring it into illustrator and live trace it. PLay with it a little til it looks right. (not every map will come out the same so you'll have too play with the controls.) When you get the map the way you like save it as an .eps, at least thats how i do it, and place it into photoshop and finish the rest to your liking.

Sorry for the long response. Im at work so i dont have any of the files and wont be back to my computer/ have time to do anything till this weekend. Hope i helped a little bit.

Cool...thanks for the pointers. I'll try my best at live tracing. Never done it before but we'll see what happens. What does .eps do? Well besides allowing it to be imported into photoshop.
When you open it in photoshop does is the file compressed? Or can you still move each state by it self?

it was a picture of all the states so you couldn't really move them around unless you cut it apart. As for what exactly an eps is, i don't kow ahhahah it just works.
