Hey Guys , it was very nice to meet everybody from last meet on 6/13/10.

I'm planning to have our offical BIG BBQ meet for the TSFC member at July!!

Where: Queens, NY (Cunningham Park)


Time: 10am to whenever


Direction:

Cunningham Park Located between Union Turnpike and Francis Lewis Boulevard

From Queens (Local):

Take Francis Lewis Blvd. toward to JKF Airport side, when you hit Union Turnpike there has a traffic light. Keep on the right lane and pass Union Turnpike you will see the park sign and the entry is at your right hand side. It is only one way in and out, so just keep following the road till you see all the Fits.

From Queens & Brooklyn (Take LIE):

Take LIE exit 25 Utopia Pkwy and keep going on the serivce road (Horace Harding Expy) till you hit Francis Lewis Blvd., then make a RIGHT on Francis Lewis Blvd. and keep going till hit Union Turnpike there has a traffic light. Keep on the right lane and pass Union Turnpike you will see the park sign and the entry is at your right hand side. It is only one way in and out, so just keep following the road till you see all the Fits.

From NJ:

I believe most of the NJ member are taking Holland Tunnel to NYC. When you guys get off Holland Tunnel get off exit "Canal Street". 2) Keep going on the Canal St. and get on Manhattan Bridge (Upper Level), after you get on the bridge keep on the right lane and get off the bridge that say (278 Queens). That exit is a 360 turn and then you will hit a traffic light, make a right at that light and keep right. 3) Get on highway "278 Queens". 4) Keep going on 278 till you see the Sign say "495" Eastern LI/Queens (I believe exit 35E), transfer highway 495. 5.) Get off exit 26 (Francis Lewis Blvd.) 6.) Keep driving on the service road till hit the 1st traffic light then turn right on Francis Lewis Blvd. 7) Keep going and pass the 2nd traffic light (Should between Francis Lewis Blvd. and Union Tpk.) 8.) After the 2nd traffic light keep right (DON"T DRIVE FAST) the park entry will be at your right hand side. Don't DRIVE FAST you will miss the entry, it located less than 30 sec. after that traffic light. 9.) Keep follow the road till then end, you should see all the FIT at the BIG Parking.

Hopefully this direction help you guys out!!!!!

 

Either date is fine for me. I'll just go with the flow, whatever works best for the largest majority of the crew. I'll be able to pick up anything for food.

I'll also make sure I have a full battery in my camera this time...

Hey,score04w thanks for your contribution! Actually the park has a grill chair and table already. So we don't have to worry about those this time.

 

Since I have all the plates, condiments, utensilsleft from last time, I'm going to bring them up again. + I will get the cooking tools

 

I'm gonna bring chicken this time, BBQ ftw! Also voted...

 

sweet no grill.NYPD were a**holes about the grill being on my roof driving home.

ill bring the burger buns since we all failed on that one last time. Also bring some meat.

i think there should be a deadline for voting for the date just so that everyone knows and is for sure when it is
