Oakland to Open 74 Miles of Streets for Safe Biking and Recreation
The city of Oakland is planning to open 74 miles of streets for cyclist and pedestrians so people can get outside and get some exercise with ample space for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

There's talk of doing something like that here too. The bicycle infrastructure is already not too bad, but would be nice to see them do that. I need to build a coalition on setting up an annual ride like LA does. They have over there CicLAvia - https://www.ciclavia.org/ Looks like they had to cancel one cause of the virus. The turn out there is really big. It would be big here too and I doubt they want to push something. Making a declaration might work though.
Anything up there like Ciclavia?
