I picked up a new bike Saturday. Most of my time has been spent lateley on bike forums so I havent posted here much. My poor fit has not been driven since saturday.

 

Hey, is that a 1000 or a 650 V-Strom? Either way, that's a super great bike. If I was taller, I would be thinking of buying one myself. I haven't sat on a 650, but the 1000 is too long in the inseam for a five-foot-eight guy like me.
That bike is suited for just about anything you throw at it.

 

It’s the 650. I haven't thrown too much at it so far but it is defiantly a capable bike for the first 500 miles of pavement it ate up. I'm 5'9" and have a 30" inseam. I can either put both of the balls of my feet on the ground or flat foot with one foot. There are some lower seat options about up to an Inch out there. I've sat on both at the Cleveland motorcycle show and the 1000 is just a bit taller. Allot of people prefer the 650 because it’s significantly lighter but not significantly down on power to the 1000.
