Words Fail....new Engine Design!
This may revolutionize internal combustion engines as we know it.
On a side note, that guy who invented a flying car with 4 engines was waiting for an invention like this to make his car fly(originally using rotary motors but those are still too big a lack the power)

800? if you get enough boost it says you can get upto 3000HP... that torque is insane though... that would be just way too much... you'd need to put lead weights in the front of the car just to keep the wheels on the ground... or just do a 4wd conversion
very nice find!

very nice find!
That is very interesting, but imagine the drive train that would be needed to handdle that power. for the fit it would have to be all wheel drive and try to eather mate it with custom drive train or porshe or skyline all wheel drive and the you have a monster fit.
Yeah I was joking about the engine swap, I just bumped it cause nobody seemed to be interested in this thing. I honestly think this is a huge step in inventions, like the first combustion engine. We can have flying cars now!
hey if the engine will produce what the inventor says it can produce that it's amazing. an engine that weighs one fifty cuts a lot of weght of the car. and if it would work why not, it is very interesting and a good find. I did not see how much tork it produced. imagine how much weight savings you could achive with that engine let alone the power added.
I don't think that the spec page provided had anything to do with an internal combustion engine. 8 ports, 1 inch lines? Air pressure 157psi? Exhaust temps cooler than intake temps?
Maybe their "engine" running on compressed air?
I don't think that he's got a running example yet. It might be an interesting concept, I think he's waiting for someone to figure out some small technical details, like how to make it work...
The guy is winning accolades in "Create the Future" design contests and American Antigravity magazine.
Call me skeptical, but come on.

actually....
Angel Labs :: Air Motoring

Air motoring of the MYT™ Engine through 4 ports
Result:814 ft. lb. torque from 150 psi air input
oh yeah... http://www.angellabsllc.com/mytairtest.swf
yeah, running on compressed air
haha, i keep finding videos... http://www.angellabsllc.com/video/airMotorRun.wmv
that air input looks like hes simulating boost... but thats just me

I actually did more information on it and it hasn't run on fuel yet because of leak problems. I also read that this engine design has had a similar run in the 80s in spain and runs on fuel, but the price of this thing caused its downfall. Maybe with today's manufacturing capabilities it could be cheaper. There is another video of the guy who invented it saying that a car sized motor with 250 to 300 hp would be in our cars that would weigh 25lbs and produce mpgs of 150!? Sounds to good to be true.

I 've got friends developing small, low temp (<600 deg) fuel cells, they get investors that kick in millions of dollars to support their efforts research. their staff is more than 50% PhDs from Caltech. Their product wouldn't be nearly as revolutionary as this concept, but they have to turn investors away. If this engine was viable, you would see a lot more work being done on it.

I didn't see anywhere where it said it wasn't run with fuel so i just owned myself
. True, it does sound too good to be true, but I think we have the resources and the mind power to make it happen in the near future. That or I'm way too optimistic
