What is wrong with this civic?
Hey i'm not too great with engines so could someone tell me why this civic sounds sooooo horrible? I mean I know it prolly has almost no exhaust on it, but the idle is so screwed up.

he got rid of vtec with different cams, so now he's running with high lift all the time. the idle does seem a bit low though, the car sounds almost like a muscle car with a huge cam

Yes those are referred to as VTEC KILLER CAMS. Anywho a high HP app with a VERY aggressive cam will idle very irratic.

YouTube - GSR with Toda VTEC Killers

Huge overlap of cams ( intake & exhaust valves are open at a same time) typical high rev's / racing engines. Above 4-5000 rpm this engine will "sing"

lol, sounds like a rotative motor( i think its spelled like that) u know, instead of pistons...
