Question Which came first: the chicken, the egg, the Oasis or the Odyssey?

So I'm driving on vacation and I see this beside me:

Then I saw the name plate: Isuzu Oasis?

What on earth? Is this an Odyssey knockoff? They don't make the Odyssey for Honda do they? I know that Isuzu makes their i370 into the GM Canyon/Colorado. I know that Mazda makes the Ranger, etc. I know that Mitsubishi made a handful of cars for Chrysler. I know Toyota even made some Corollas into "Geo Prisms" for Chevy. But what is going on? I didn't think that Honda had a corporate alliance with anyone. Are these vans related? Is this a case of "imitation is the highest form of flattery"? Someone please shed some light!

Dang... I just found my answer:
Isuzu Oasis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Honda made the Oasis for Isuzu and Isuzu made the Passport (Isuzu Rodeo) for Honda. Of course Izuzu made out while Honda got a pile of crap from it. Honda did not have a mid size suv at the time. They only had the CR-V.
