Guys, my CC company called me today regarding an attempted charge out of California (City of Industry to be exact) for well over a grand at a Office Depot. I have recently done business with a vendor in CA off this forum (I believe based out of City of Industry)....heads up.

Due to the legal nature of this issue, I am not disclosing anything further, my CC company will be contacting the company and most likely the local PD.

 

Could you PM me the vendor ?

 

i dont think any of the "Authorized" vendors on this forum are in City of Industry.

 

Nothing surprises me, Fitfreak is an awesome resource,but it is in my experience Unpoliced,semi-regulated.Something like a wild west 18th cent cowtown.

Ineed, and since this is in the hands of my CC company and the law, I don't want to point any fingers, something as simple as them not destroying my CC info properly after I did business with them could have resulted in this situation (identity thieves target trash bins from businesses). Regardless, just wanted others to keep an eye on their CC statements, some CC companies aren't as vigilant about fraud as mine is.

We are located in the City of Industry. I know there are a couple other vendors around, however We can assure you that everything we do here is legit. From signed invoices to shredding information. All of our invoices are then filed and shredded after 3 years. Every invoice in our file shows only the last 4 digits of the customers credit card information including the name address and phone # for reference.
