Ever feel accomplished after doing math?
I do now. I did 6 hours of Calculus II homework last night. UGH is all I can say. I got most of it, and only a few puzzled me for a bit. Integrals are a bitch. Derivatives are a bitch.
This is the bitchiest->> Integral of sin^2(x)cos^2(x)dx
For whatever reason that little f***er took me an hour to figure out.
NOTICE: If you're going to be a Mechanical Engineering major, get ready to practically minor in mathematics!
I dunno if this qualifies as a rant or not; either way --> </rant>

The only feeling i get after doing math is frustration.
Im doing Algebra 2 right now and it puzzles me everytime i approach it. Ill undertand a new method on Monday, go to class Tuesday and be like WTF?! Its horrible..

Ughh, I hate math. Seriously, if someone were to put a math problem in front of me Id just stare at it with a blank face. Unless it was easy. Hahah!
I cant remember half of the math I did in High School.
I do remember one of my math teachers would teach 3-4 different lessons a day. We would jam pack them all in for weekly tests. He wondered why more than half the class failed each test.

I nearly failed Algebra II. I blame the teacher, as I did fine in Alg I and in Geometry. It wasn't my fault he talked to himself more than he talked/teached to the class.

I had to take math 70 at the U of Oregon in 2002 at the age of 45 to get an electrical license. I had sucked so bad in the 9th grade (4 D's) that I had to do it over. Took me a good 3 hours of studying a night for the entire term and I still missed an A by one lousy point. It was utter hell...I feel your pain!

Jeez i am glad I am not a Mech. Engineer, I am a Bio Science major, though i don't have to worry about math, Chem. gets you sometimes taking Ca(OH)2..(aq)+HNO3--> having to figure out the yield, spec. ions, molecular equation, net ionic equation, and such, they aren't really hard but time consuming

My job requires a basic understanding of addition, subtraction, division and multiplication, but if you want to do the job well, algebra and others really help walk circles around the co-workers at getting shit done>

I got a whole list of math to do, but thankfully I won't have any math courses in my senior year. Booya!
( fall semester;spring semester)
freshman: precal/calc;calc II
sophomore: differential equations; calc III
junior: numerical analysis; math elective
