Thumbs up My day of super cars w/pics

Well as most of you know i am in So Cal on deployment and that im in the military(thanks to manxman). Instead of staying here on base to watch the big air show, that i have seen the practices for the last couple weeks, im going to La Jolla, almost 2 hours away, to look at cars. "What cars are you gonna look at Joshua while you are up there" you are prob asking. Well i will tell you that my sole purpose for this trip is to see the illusive (sorry Illusive) Bugatti Veyron which i havent seen yet. Also in the stable at this amazing dealership is a couple of Enzo's which i have already seen a few, a Mclaren F1, which i cant wait to see, a Saleen S7, the Rolls Royce drophead coupe and the new Ferrari 599 to name a few. Yes i have my camera and yes i will take tons of pics. If this works out aswell as last time it will be a good trip. To bad my rental is a POS dodge charger. Not just any POS dodge charger tho this one has the worst motor ever built. The 2.7l V6 which i cant stand and on top of it the car doesnt have ABS or side airbags. Oh well i will post pics and tales of my "Day of Days" on my return.

Well my "day of days" was amazing!!!! Like i said before here are the pics that i have from my excursion. Im surprised that there was little interest and only 1 reply so this is for you REXXXXXXXX. haha. Alright now to the good stuff. The trip started in La Jolla at Symbolic Motorsports. Driving into the parking lot this was the first car that we saw. The owners Bugatti Veyron 1 of 3 there.

There will be more from that car later. When we parked there was a new showroom in front of my worthless rental. The glass was very thick and reflective so the pics dont show all that well so i will just come out and tell you what was in there. The other 2 Bugatti Veyrons, a Ferrari Enzo, and a BMW Z8. Here are the pics i got of them.

That car was amazing. Black on red with a Black on red interior with the custom black rims. Absolutely amazing. Heres a pic of the Enzo. If you look to the left its the rear of the Z8 and to the right is the nose of the third Veyron.

There was so many amazing cars that i didnt even take pics of the 3rd Bugatti, all you can see is the nose of it in the pic above. Next up is a pic of one of the 3 showrooms. This one was the Lambo, Ferrari and Lotus showroom. Most of the cars here were Lambos though.

I dont want to post to many pics at once so i will keep the individual pics of these for a later date. I also went to the Ferrari dealer but the best car they had was 599 and pics really arent needed. Just because im a great guy and did a very well job of talking to the owner i did get a little up close and personal to his personal Veyron and couldnt help but post these last. I had to end this on a good note. With no further a due here it is ladies and gentlemen the Bugatti Veyron up close and personal.

Yes that was me in the pic above. I had to slightly dress for the occasion. This next pic is of the rear tire just to give you an idea of what $8k gets you for only 1. Yes that is a piece of paper as a guide.

Next pic is of the 1001HP 16 cylinder quad turbo 16.4 Bugatti powerplant.

This pic is of the rear.

Last but not least is a simple pic of the front before we had to depart

Well i would like to thank everyone for looking, reading, and appreciating super cars. I do have more pics if any are interested but these were the ones that stuck out, i didnt want to take up to much bandwidth on one post. Today truly was a "day of days". Myself in the presence of one the best super cars ever made.

Haha. I told you i was good at finding super cars and getting up close to them. I was kinda upset cause the Mclaren F1 wasnt there but i did get the info on it. Its on its way from Houston. It is getting federalized seeing it was purchased from a gentleman from Japan. It is car #3 of the 74 made in 1994 and was the first off the line to be sold to the public. It was the press car for the first year and then was completely rebuilt and sold to the gentleman in Japan. He only put 2,000 KM on it since 94-95ish. It is the king of kings and the unicorn of super cars. I will be making a special trip up there in a couple weeks once it gets its green card. I cant wait!!!! I will continue my quest's for super cars and post the evidence of my findings.

Update #2

I figured what the hell so here are some more pics from my trip. These are some other random cars from Symbolic. First 2 pics are a 599GTB Ferrari.

Next pic is of a couple of Aston Martins. A vantage (blue one) and a vanquish (black one). The car in the rear is a Ferrari but i cant remember if its a 456GTA or a 355 spider. I never got close to it cause its slammed in the back. haha. You can see the nose of the silver Porsche Turbo.

This next pic is a classic but you cant deny a 1963 Ferrari 250 SWB ($3.5 Mil). The pic didnt turn out all that well tho. Sorry

Here is the last pic of this update. A Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.

I will post one more update of pics prob tomorrow. It will be from the Ferrari dealership that is right down the road from Symbolic. Hope you all enjoy all the pics of my super car trip

Yea your telling me. 2 of the 3 were in the glass showroom with the Enzo and the last one(owner of Symbolics car) was in the rear of the building behind a fence as the first pic shows. They were locked up pretty tight but good thing i know alot about it and talked my way back to see it. I didnt want to push my luck and ask to open it up tho. I was hoping that he was going to offer it up but he didnt

The next pic is of there 599GTB and finally a decent interior shot. The only good one of the day.

Leaver and CF. What an amazing interior!!!!!!!!

I do have other pics but they arent all that exciting. These were the best of the best.

Oh i almost forgot all you BMW guys should be looking forward to hearing that the 1 series will be available to the public on the 14th. They are sitting at docks all over the country waiting for the official release. Also the new M3 is on the streets and looking mean. I would have taken pics but they will be pretty common at dealerships very soon. For you Lexus guys the new ISF is out. I saw a couple of those driving around town. Very nice sound.

Damn i forgot to post also that i found my next car. No it is not a super car, i wish though. It is an Infinity G37S. I tried one out back to back with a BMW 335 coupe and found that the G37 was better priced and offered a pretty reasonable ride all for about $10 grand less. Loaded the G37 is in the low $40's which isnt a bad price for all that you get. It may be on my list of purchases when i get back from deployment.Getting the wife to give the go ahead will be a pain tho. haha. Wish me luck!!!!

One was the owners personal car so there was only 2 for sale. They have already sold a couple from what i have heard. There isnt really all that many official dealers in the country so i take it they all have atleast 1 if not 2 in stock to look at even though they are more of a special order car.
