This might be a retarded question, but how does a twin turbo work? I understand how a normal turbo works and how it is installed, but where/how does a second turbo get added to that system?

Oh and that is one sick golf!! Oh and that movie is awesome. Good shots and edits. and narration!

you usually see this in european cars, bascially they just make or find the room to put a second turbo to compress the intake charge. There are 2 kinds, one that uses both turbo's at the same time, another that only uses one down low and then one or both up high.

i think this is an example of the former. its still awesome though!

yeah some people have 1 smaller turbo....and 1 huge turbo.

the smaller one picks up the lag for the bigger turbo...

so that way they have instant power around 2k all the way up to redline.
