Music?

What do the Fitfreakers listen to?

I'm sort of a hiphop head myself. Right now sitting listening to Nas' Illmatic (if you like hiphop and don't have this album...just...get it now.)

Some videos:

YouTube - Abdominal - Vicious Battle Raps Abdominal's "Vicious Battle Raps"

YouTube - Eminem freestyle *VERY RARE* Eminem tearing it up in '97

YouTube - Royce da 5,9''- Who got Bodied? (Mistah F.A.B diss) Royce Da 5'9...quite possibly the hottest MC coming out of Detroit right now...

YouTube - Kid Koala Kid Koala. Amazing DJing

Not hiphop but awesome: YouTube - War Photographer Video

and

YouTube - Eddie Flashin Fowlkes - Goodbye Kiss

Discuss and debate and post your own favorite music.

I listen to everything from hip hop, punk, funk, freestyle.

I would have to agree... if Royce didnt keep hopping labels then he would have a real successful album.

Oops! My bad, didn't realize there was already a thread about this. I guess that'll teach me to not use the search feature.

Flobots are the best!! I love their new album, ummm, "Fight With Tools." And it's funny because their kind of music (hip-hop/rap) isn't my style, but I just love them soooo much.

Ah, very nice. Everything listed here is amazing. Sounds like you've been to HARD the past few times. Maybe lucky enough to fly out to Florida for ULTRA? Totally envy you if you did. Living Legends puts on a great show. "Throw up them L's!" Haha. Hard to believe that much talent is in one group. I saw Saves the Day back in 03 or 04 at the Warfield in SF, and this kid was crying happily next to me while they were singing "See You." Same thing happened when I saw Hopesfall earlier that year. At the time, I thought they were a couple of bitches for tearing up like that. Now, looking back, I feel like a twat for even thinking that. I love that music can take us to that place- totally overcome with emotion, utterly lost in the sounds, but still, everything makes perfect sense.

I'm an oddball and listen to mostly anything.

I'll go from Conway Twitty one minute to Abstract Rude the next. Then put on some Epic Trance and switch to some musicals.

I love Mashups but probably the one album I always go back to is:

Deltron - Deltron 3030
