IF you run the cat5 from the modem to the 360 it will work, as long as it is your router that is down and not your internet, but i don't think you would be on the forums if you didn't have internet right now.

ohhh ya ya thats what i did it wont connect... but then i went through the router and it connects for a few seconds but then disconects.. sux but for sure the router is messed up

It should work without the router. Is the rest of your internet running ok?

 

Oh, try resetting your modem.

Turn off/unplug your router
Turn off/unplug your modem
Wait 30-60seconds
Plug modem in and wait until it is fully powered
Then plug in the router.

u know what dude i turned the modem off and had the 360 off then turned them both on and now it works! but i cant be online and xbox live at the same time cuz the router!

its cool tho at least i can go on now!

 

I got an XBOX about 4 weeks ago.... it broke and I called technical support... 3 hours later they came to the conclusion it was toast and I had to ship it to Microsoft 2 weeks ago... still waiting for it to come back.

I should have seen this coming, Windows has never been kind to me either

I had my 1st xbox for over 2 years with no problems, then it died. I shipped it out and 10 days later they sent me a BRAND NEW 360. New serial # and everything. Have not played it much lately though. Been busy around the house/at work/at the shop.

Try the Tommy Kiara Impreza with full mods (only stage 2 trans) and a 20/80 split for your y-controller. It does great.

 

hey to get money fast on forza 2 just buy the second to last part on upgrades (i do the engine swaps) then go sell it and hold the x and right trigger and it will sell the last part and just do it over and over

just started playing the mlg playlist, and getting raped
um, never played gtaIV, wasn't interested.
just beat GH metallica, dc v mortal kombat both story modes, and have to beat the boss in re5, but replaying levels for more ammo. I just traded in my arcade for the limited addition red 360. its pretty sweet, but since i got a belkin n router, ive been laggy.
