Idk if any1 else noticed all these picture trails with not progress? just stock cars that stay that way? not bashing on you fellas with stock fits, just saying. I thought the whole picture trail was kinda like a progress thread??? any1 else have some input they would like to share???

 

Picture trail can be for a progress tracker, or for people like me and Ray and Jeff who just take alot of pics and like to post them here on FitFreak. Or for someone with a stock Fit who justs wants to try the idea lol. Do what ya want with the idea. My car hasnt had one single mod added in months just because i havent had the money lately, i still post pics cause i like too lol. Soon im getting some new stuff though, then ill post pics of the new stuff on haha.

I see what you mean George. Theres a lot of people that just post pics once and thats it. I think theyre just jumping on the bandwagon. Its not that big of a deal as more threads push theirs down and down to the bottom.
So they basically disappear eventually. Until someone bumps the post back up. If the OP were to bump the post and no new pictures have been posted, I/or a mod shall step in. At least I think we should.

I was thinking today that my thread is getting too long. Im sure no one goes to my first couple of pages anymore. I do at times to see how my pics have progressed. Im sure no one else has the time to sit threw 35 pages of a stupid MR Fit.

but i guess they just want to start it so by the time they actually get some mods and more pictures, the thread would have already started

Im actually saying towards what Mx6GT89 is saying, the guys that have the pic trail but only post once. I can under stand when you like photography and post sic pics in different places and actually keep it going, hence the name picture TRAIL... Thats just my opinion, def not bashing on our stock fit members.

 

Some people just haven't had the time to get back out and shoot. Like me for example, I've added a few things since I updated my page last, but I just haven't had ample time to take quality pictures yet. People have other things going on in their lives other than just their Fit. I'm sure others who have started a "trail" will be back with more pics something in the future.

 

It kinda is. As I said, picture trails without progress is a waste of site space. Its a site opinion and what to be done.
I see it got moved anyway. Hahh!

 

this is what i think. some people like to show everything they got on their cars and take lots of pics. others are the opposite and like to hide it all or be subtle. additionally, there are people who can't decide which of those 2 groups they fit into. so they make a picture trail that leads to nowhere.

but they could just be busy with other things or had a change in plans. who knows...but i agree there have been some "picture trail" threads i've been excited to check out, only to be sorely disappointed. i don't see it as a big deal though. i say give them their time.

 

Idk i post up progress pics of my car under the same thread " My NHBP " and it usually dies pretty quick after I post up the pics. I don't take too many pics of my car when I haven't done anything to add to the thread because nice photoshoot spots are kinda hard to find around here so got to save them for when it counts.

 

i think it's a great way for members to post whore! hence why i don't have one. when it comes to posts... quality>quantity.

That would be the same as if someone looked at your picture thread and said what a piece of shit why is this guy wasting space on this site. Besides fitfreak isn't privately owned, so theres no sense in trying to cut back on space. It also gives me something to do during the day at work while I'm bored out of my mind.
