Lightbulb I picked up a Miata - Still have RSX..

I picked up a Miata this past weekend.. for a beater. I have been driving my RSX type S to work and back every day.. 36miles one way.. I decided aginst contining to do this since I owe so much on the RSX so I got myself a beater..

No ABS
No PS
No Trac
RWD

Pure Fun...

This weekend I went to work on it , cleaned it all up washed it and the engine ran some sea foam thru it.. running great. I am going to have to replace the top and the Dryer in the AC to get the AC working.. other then that its awesome. I will have pics later this week..

Miata's are pretty cool. I've kinda always wanted a small convertible... but I'm afraid to be "fat guy in a little car"

Congrats on the purchase.. you'll have to post pics sometime if you decide to modify...

A year would be nice? The Maxipad tails are my favorite year, which is the 1G.
I dubbed that body style with that name BTW.

No AC, I have to replace the Drier for a working AC..

My buddy who races them says that mine is rare and hard to find?

Its got
Manual Mirrors
Manual Windows
No PS
and build date of 89?

I dunno though.. I have found some problems with it tonight on the way home.. seems to have a hard time in low gears in 2k-3k and when I push in the clutch pedal it clicks.. but it clicks before the clutch is even engaged.. so I will look at that this weekend.. doesn't seem like anything major.

PS: Ray.. what do I have to do to get a sweet custom title like that? I have been around long enough!

Grats man! If I had the room (and money), I'd pick up a used Miata to turn into a track beater.
