Hi, I'm a newbie Fit Owner. I just picked it up on Tuesday (Sept 30 08). So far, I'm in love with the car. I have a Fit 2009 Sport w/ Nav in Tidewater Blue. I wanted the gray because I thought the resale would be better (much later down the road), but so far this color is fine for me. My only complaint is that it has a lavender-ish hue in the sunset.

Anyway, I don't know anybody else that has one of these cars, kind of a shake-up as my previous cars (CRX, Integra) pretty much had a cult following. I'm very happy to find this site because it makes me feel like not such a freak for loving the versatility yet smallness of this car.

Forgive me if this is not posted under the correct thread, I'm still learning about the extent of this website (let me say the FAQS are reeeeally extensive and the rules page didn't load for me).

I'm appreciating this page already because I came across it searching google for a locking gas cap for the 09. After reading one of the posts here, I've decided not to bother. I don't plan to anger any teenagers. I just hope nobody else with a car that looks like mine ticks off a teenager, either.

I'm curious about one thing and thought this would be a good place to ask. What is the average age of a Fit owner in the US?

Welcome to the Fit forum and congrads on your new Fit - post us up some pictures when you can. This forum is a great place to learn about your car and keep up with every aspect of the car. This forum has a wide range of ages and both guys and gals are active although the guys definitely out number us gear head girls!

Whew! Glad to see it's all over the map. I'm 28 (husband is 33) and we're both loving the car. I was kind of afraid I was entering territory (this forum) where there would be an abundance of ages one way or the other and we would be out of place.

Also, I saw a person in the linked thread that purchased a stick! *jealous* I would have had to wait months to get a stick version!
